CSR Card Training Suspended

CSR Card Training Suspended

From 8th January 2021

Due to the worsening public health situation and the stay at home message from the Northern Ireland Executive, CSR training will cease from close of business today, Friday 8 January 2021. The recommencement date is not yet known, but please complete the CSR Course Registration 2021 Form by clicking on the button below, and you will be updated of this in due course.

All training providers have been consulted by the CEFNI and agree that temporarily pausing face-to-face training will reduce contact, and enable us to play our part in supporting the effort to reduce the spread of Coronavirus.

We are asking employers, and those responsible for checking CSR cards, to be flexible if a card has recently expired. This approach is supported by CPD and the Government Construction Clients. This situation will be kept under review with the aim of getting back to course delivery as soon as possible. Our team will remain available to process any outstanding cards can still be processed, and answer any queries.

New cards
  • Please note this does not extend to those individuals who have not yet completed training, or those who previously held a CSR card in the past.

Renewal Supervisor, Manager & Plant cards
  • The grace periods available for the renewal of supervisor, manager and plant cards will be extended by 3 months to avoid candidates renewing these cards being required to complete the full courses instead of the refresher course or technical test.
