Moya, our Principle Healthcare Advisor epitomizes just that. Celebrating 40 years in Nursing this year, Moya has certainly gained a comprehensive breadth of experience.
Commencing nursing in 1979, Moya worked in the Belfast City Hospital Operating Department, in Theatres and Anaesthetics. Moya realised early in her career that she loved learning and sharing new skills and knowledge with her colleagues. Moya joined Health Matters on a part time basis in 2001, and then became permanent in 2006 and hasn’t looked back since!
We asked Moya what her favourite part of her job is…
“I love my training role and all the variety and experiences it brings. No two days are ever the same and I get to meet amazing people along the way. I enjoy observing the trainees’ journey through the learning process and take pride and pleasure in their acquisition of new knowledge and skills, when they can demonstrate a better understanding of their roles and perform their duties safely and more efficiently.”
