CSR Withdraws Visitor Card

From 29 February 2020 CSR will no longer issue any new or renewal Construction Site Visitor cards. Visitor cards issued up to this date will continue to be valid for 4 years from the date of the health and safety training.

There are a number of other CSR cards options available:

  • The Health & Safety Trained card is issued on completion of the CSR one day health and safety training course. This will meet the Buildsafe Initiative requirements for “appropriate health and safety training”. Please note the Health and Safety Trained card is accepted in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, but not in Great Britain.
  • Other options available are the Professionally Qualified Person (PQP) or Academically Qualified Person (AQP) card. Further information on the requirements for these cards are available here.

The withdrawal of the Construction Site Visitor card is the latest in a series of changes to the Construction Skills Register which have been necessary to ensure CSR complies with the Construction Leadership Council’s “One Industry Logo” initiative.
