Who is it for?
This course is for individuals appointed champions or ambassadors for health within their workplace. The course aims to develop their understanding of the role and share strategies on how they can contribute to creating a healthy workplace.
What will I learn?
To ensure that Workplace Health Champions can advise, facilitate and act as Champions for their organisation through each stage of developing a healthy workplace programme.
What will I be able to do?
On completion of this course, learners should be able to:
- Describe their role as a Workplace Health Champion.
- Describe the workplace health programme, including the benefits and business case to engage support from their organisation.
- Identify strategies to overcome some challenges of implementing a workplace health programme.
- Implement project management techniques at each of the eight stages of developing a workplace health programme.
- Work with others to develop an action plan for their organisation based on a needs analysis.

- The role of a wellbeing champion.
- The case for health and wellbeing programmes.
- Best practice in developing and delivering health and wellbeing programmes.
